Client Service Representative - Full & Part Time

Summary

We are looking for all CSR Rock Stars for our very fast paced 3 doctor veterinary hospital and Wellness Clinic. As a Client Service Representative, you must be outgoing as you will be the first point of contact for clients by providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your core skills in communication, data entry, and phone etiquette will be essential in managing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. With premium skills in customer service, you will enhance client interactions and drive satisfaction. Additionally, your relevant skills in Microsoft Office Suites and call center operations will support our commitment to delivering outstanding service. Qualifications

  • Proficient in written and spoken English with strong communication skills
  • Experience in customer support and client services
  • Skilled in data entry and phone etiquette
  • Must be punctual and have great work attendance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and DaySmart (is a HUGE plus).
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions without error
  • Natural Problem Solver
  • Must be a proactive team player
  • Comfortable and confident in dealing with the needs of multiple rescue groups
  • Previous experience in veterinary setting is REQUIRED
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and dog/cat vaccination schedules REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Greets clients and obtains demographic information and patient medical records
  • Schedules wellness, illness, and surgical appointments
  • Checks clients into the practice management system (DaySmart)
  • Answers and routes calls as necessary while accurately taking and delivering messages to appropriate recipients.
  • Accepts and signs for packages, and notifies addressee of package arrival
  • Performs a variety of Ad Hoc clerical tasks
  • Maintains clean and orderly reception area and assists with laundry and other cleaning tasks as needed
  • Assist clients with pets as necessary
  • Handles cash, checks, and credit cards for payments
  • Balances the end of day reports
  • Emails important documents to online pharmacies, and other veterinary facilities
  • Scans and imports documents into patient history

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

    Veterinary Nurse - Full Time

    Summary

    We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to provide care for animals in our fast paced hospital and wellness clinic while supporting 3 Veterinarians. You’ll play an important role in bringing comfort to our patients and clients and will ensure that the hospital flow is running smoothly and effectively. One of the most important Veterinary Assistant responsibilities is to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean. We will also rely on you to assist the Veterinarians in examinations and surgeries.

    You need the ability and knowledge to care for animals properly. This includes routine tasks such as feeding but also having readiness to care for injured or scared animals that may exhibit unpredictable behavior. If you are an organized multitasker who is quick on your feet and has the stomach to help with medical operations and euthanasia, we’d like to meet you.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
    • Administrative experience is a plus
    • Must be a team player
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Patient and caring personality
    • Ability to follow instructions properly and to pivot and shift at any moment
    • Comfortable being around all species of animals
    • Sight of urine, feces, blood, needles, and open surgeries do not bother you
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 50 lbs.)
    • Availability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations
    • High school diploma; a certificate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is a plus

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with patient care
    • Collect samples (urine, blood, feces, etc.) and running necessary tests
    • Administer medication prescribed by Veterinarians (intravenous, intramuscular, oral, rectal, etc.)
    • Clean exam rooms, surgery suite, treatment area, kennels/cages and bathe animals* (*if necessary)
    • Sterilize surgical equipment
    • Collect medical history from clients and document in Daysmart 
    • Assist with taking x-rays
    • Prep patients for surgery, monitor, and assist in surgery as needed
    • Observe animal behavior and health conditions and report to the Vet
    • Assist in emergency/critical situations
    • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and communicating with clients via telephone, email, and text
    • Keep accurate and detailed records
    • Advise pet owners on nutrition and healthcare
    • Assist with Euthanasia

    Pay: From $17.25 per hour

    Expected hours: 30+ hours per week
