Pressly Animal Hospital is dedicated to the health and safety of pets and our community. To that end, we offer regular Rabies Vaccine Clinics on the last Wednesday of every month from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM (except when that date is a holiday). Rabies vaccines are required by law in North Carolina for all cats and dogs. This deadly disease is always fatal and can be passed to pets through wild animal bites or other modes of transmission. Even if your pet is generally indoors, that does not mean they’re always safe from rabies. They can escape during times of high stress, such as during fireworks or celebrations. In addition, there is always the possibility of infected wild animals entering the home. Rabies can also be transmitted to the human members of the family too.
Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine Clinic in Matthews and Indian Trail
Our goal is to provide a low-cost option for vaccinations during our Rabies Vaccine Clinic at our Matthews animal hospital. No exam is performed, and all pets are seen on a walk-in only basis. The cost for the vaccine is $18, and you will be provided with a rabies tag and certificate. A previous valid vaccination certificate must be provided to determine if a 3-year rabies vaccine can be given to your pet.
